Gymnastics instilled the love of exercise in me, but also determination and perseverance. I am passionate about creating the best environment for our children to grow. As a Mum we want to give our children the best start in life by choosing activities that will shape their future.

I have coached in Stortford Schools since 2007. I still work with teachers to improve curriculum gymnastics and have taught thousands of local children! My daughter Beth, has competed in gymnastics, trampolining, cheerleading and diving! So I have lived for many years in my customers' shoes and know about excellent customer service
Niki
I joined the club in 2016 as Pre-School Manager and was promoted to Club Manager in 2021. I have two children and it was while watching my youngest in his Pre-School classes that I decided to change career, re-train and, well the rest is history! I'm looking forward to developing your little ones through play, and ensuring they gain confidence with new skills along the way.
Wendy
I am responsible for training the coaches and I design the lesson plans allowing gymnasts to have fun and achieve. I competed as an Elite Gymnast in my childhood and subsequently qualified as a High Performance Women's Coach. I have mentored many coaches and coached hundreds of gymnasts to achieve their best, from entry level to national elite status.

I am a Level 2 Women’s and Pre-School Coach with over a decade of experience. I pride myself in getting the best from my gymnasts; I greatly enjoy seeing them succeed and have been involved in developing young talent in previous roles. My other passion, is fitness and as a PT, Nutritional Advisor & Sports Massage Therapist I am able to pass on vital knowledge to help participants excel.
Lyndsey
I joined Stortford Gymnastics in January 2017. I am a Level 2 Club Coach and a Level 1 Pre-School Coach. I decided to become a coach after years of being in the sport as an Elite Gymnast (British champion at the age of 9). I have been a coach for many years but I stopped when I had a family. I love being part of a team that develops children's gymnastic ability, social skills, and confidence.
Jane
I joined the team in 2019 and have been involved in gymnastics since 5. Â My son has inherited my love for the sport. I am a L3 Coach in Trampolining & Disabilities, and also qualified in Preschool, Freestyle, Recreational Gymnastics and Fitness. Â Little known fact, I have represented Essex in Hockey & Trampolining.
Jenny
My love for gymnastics and dance began when I was 3 years old and has continued to this day. Once I stopped training, I qualified as a coach aged 15 years and went on to gain more gymnastics qualifications at a higher level in Woman's Artistic and Preschool Gymnastics. I continued to dance professionally until I became a Mum and along the way got both a diploma and degree in dance. I have danced every style you can think of and my favourite is tap. I'm now a Mum of two, but have never stopped coaching.
Marie
I discovered my love for the sport through my daughter; an Elite Trampolinist. After many years in the health & fitness industry, I was inspired to start coaching by my good friend Karen. I completed my Level 1 qualification in 2017. I continue to  develop as a Coach within the club and I strive to encourage the children to achieve their best potential whilst having fun in a safe and caring environment.
Emma
I am a L3 trampolining coach and have been coaching since 1999. I have coached recreational and competitive trampolinists at Loughton Flyers Trampolining Club and Apex (Harlow) Trampoling Club. I am also a Special Needs coach and qualified in Rebound Therapy and I am a County Level Judge, judging at club, regional and national trampolining competitions.
Leanne
I competed in gymnastics my entire childhood & teens. I owe my drive & sportsmanship to my coaches. Since enrolling my daughter in pre-school classes, gymnastics has (again) set fire through my veins! I have been given a great opportunity to coach at SG and if I can give your children the confidence the sport gave me, then job well done!
Lauren
I have been part of the team since 2017. I have danced since I was 3 and have competed nationally. Through dancing I discovered acrobatics and then gymnastics. Since joining the club I have gained my Level 2 in Gymnastics & also qualified as a Trampolining coach. Everyone at Stortford Gymnastics is so friendly and there is always a great atmosphere in the gym.
Tina
I have been with SG since the club opened; my role is to support the Pre-School Coaches, to settle the children and offer any 'motherly' comfort required (the children may know me as Auntie Tina!). I joined SG because I enjoy working with children and the Pre School classes are so much fun, embracing & acting out the weekly themes that Niki creates.
Mary
I discovered SG when I took my grandson to Leaping Lions. He loved the classes and looked forward to the different activities & theme each week. I was so impressed with the encouraging, caring nature of the coaches so jumped at the opportunity to be part of the team. It's so rewarding helping the new ones to settle in. It also keeps me young, joining in with the theme for the class, pretending to be various animals!
Sophie
I have been working at Stortford Gymnastics since May 2017 as a Young Leader and qualified as Level 2 qualification in June 2023. Stortford Gymnastics has given me the opportunity to grow and develop as a coach in a supportive environment. Having been passionate about gymnastics since the age of three, and later competing as a gymnast myself, I am eager to share that same sense of fun and excitement with the next generation of gymnasts.
Beth
I am Janine’s daughter and Karen’s niece, so I have inherited the love of gymnastics. I competed at the Nationals in 2015, coached by Lucy Swinburne. I have now moved on to cheerleading, trampolining and platform diving. However, I still am involved in coaching and qualified as a L1 coach in Sept 21. There are so many great coaches to learn from at the club so I am very lucky.
Karina
I'm a Level 2 Gymnastics Coach, Pre-school and Trampolining Coach. I have coached at Stortford Gymnastics since 2016, and in that time I have had the pleasure of witnessing many athletes learn new skills and gain the confidence to become wonderful gymnasts. Since the age of 7 I was an elite gymnast, training up to 17 hours a week. The coaches here are like family to me and we love nothing more than watching gymnasts grow and enjoy the sport as much as we do!
Oli
I am a Level 2 qualified coach in General Gymnastics, Women's Artistic Gymnastics, Trampoline and Freestyle with a huge passion for the sport. As a former elite gymnast who won the Eastern Regionals, I bring a wealth of experience and a true love for gymnastics to my coaching. I'm dedicated to helping athletes grow, focusing on technique, discipline, and fostering a positive environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
Hanna
I have been coaching at Stortford Gymnastics since January 2019 and I'm a Level 1 Gymnastics coach. Before coaching, I was a competitive cheerleader, competing across the country and even in the USA at the World Championships. Alongside coaching, I've also been studying for my degree in Nutrition. I love being part of the children's journey in gymnastics, seeing their confidence grow and building strong bonds with them is one of the best parts of my job.
Hannah
Born and raised in Canada where I began gymnastics at age 6. From age 10 I trained competitively and in 2019 I placed second at the Ontario Provincial Championships. Early 2022, I became a Level 1 qualified coach in general gymnastics. In July 2022 I moved to the UK permanently with my family and now coach at Stortford Gymnastics. I love that I have been able to continue my passion for coaching in a new country.

As I grew older I developed a love for coaching, starting off as a junior helper and then achieving my Level 1 coaching qualification in 2022. I'm now a university student and love to come back and coach at Stortford Gymnastics in the holidays!

I'm a Level 1 gymnastics coach and my love for gymnastics began when I was 5 years old. In 2016 I joined Stortford Gymnastics when it first opened and was coached by many amazing coaches still here today, I loved it. I returned back to gymnastics through work experience and years later my love for gymnastics continued. The team are some of my favourite people and everyone brings such great energy to Stortford Gymnastics and I'm proud to be apart of it.

It's so rewarding helping many wonderful gymnasts learn and grow each week. It's such a welcoming and friendly community for everyone.

I enjoy being a Level 1 Gymnastics coach because it combines my love of sport with helping gymnasts grow. Being a member of SG when I was younger and doing work experience there when I was in year 10 inspired me, and now as a young leader in trampolining, I enjoy supporting athletes as they build confidence in a sport they love.

I was lucky enough to start working for Stortford Gymnastics when I was 12, now 5 years later I'm so glad to still be here. Coaching gymnastics has taught me so many things, I am also lucky enough to have both perspectives as I was also a gymnast here when I was 7, and both have been amazing. I love being a part of the loving and supportive SG family. I have now earned my Level 1 Gymnastics qualification and I am excited to move onto my Level 2 and see where it takes me.

I’ve been working at Stortford Gymnastics since I was about 14. I started doing gymnastics from a very young age there and now I get the privilege to coach and inspire young gymnasts. I’ve now completed my level 1 qualification in coaching gymnastics, I’ve been enjoying working as an apprentice, I have met so many amazing people along the way. Working at Stortford Gymnastics has made me realise what it’s like to be part of a loving community. I’m excited to see where the future may take me.

I am a retired Police Officer and joined SG in April 2019. Since then I have learned to juggle very well, arranging the classes is a bit of a balancing act in itself. I'm happily married with 2 grown up children, and a two year old granddaughter who is keeping me very fit & active! Everyone at the club is so friendly and supportive, it's a pleasure to work here.
